All of our Baby Nests and liners are made out of GOTS certified organic cotton fabric, organic silk cotton wadding and GOLS certified organic natural latex. The baby nest consists of three parts which are all cleaned separately.

The cover: Machine wash below 30°C, tumble dry low or air dry

The mattress: Hand wash with mild soap by squeezing soiled area, air dry in shade

The bolster: We have recently changed the material in our bolsters:

- The bolsters in Baby Nests purchased before August 2020 are made out of organic cotton wadding: Untie the ribbons and spot wash soiled area, air dry in full sun or with a hair dryer.

-The bolsters in Baby Nests purchased after August 2020 are made out of organic silk cotton: Spot was soiled area, air dry in full sun or with a hair dryer.

You can avoid having to wash the baby nest by using a liner, as the liner will capture most of the baby juice. The liner will protect your baby nest and is easy to wash.

Yes, you can. A carry bag is included with every Baby Nest purchase to make transportation and travelling with your nest easy. Plus we have a heavy duty Bubnest Travel Bag now available for purchase to make protecting and travelling with your baby nest even easier.

The Baby Nests is for newborns up to approximately 1 year. The length of the inner mattress is 75cm which is the average length of a one year old. The Baby Nest is designed to grow with your little one. Simply untie the ropes and keep using the nest open at the bottom as bub grows. 

We recommend the Toddler Nests for 1 - 3 year old Toddlers. 

The outer dimensions of our Baby Nests are approximately 85cm x 36cm. Moses Baskets come in various sizes but most seem to be a bit smaller than this. We will be able to make you nest in a size that fits your Basket, please just contact us at bubmail@bubnest.com.au and we will be able to help you.

Please click on our "Safety" page for more safety information.The Baby Nest is intended for supervised naps only. We recommend to follow safe sleeping guidelines by The Red Nose Foundation.

The Red Nose Foundation have a list of Six Safe Sleep Recommendations to keep your baby as safe as possible whilst they sleep, and to reduce the risk of sudden infant death or other sleep incidents. These recommendations do not include co-sleeping. Please read our blog about co-sleeping here.

The Baby Nest consists of three parts made out of organic materials: the cover, the mattress and the bolster. Here is how you assemble the nest: 

1. Tie the ribbons on the bolster. If your bolster is a later versions ie made out of cotton silk, your bolster won't have any ribbons.

2. Fold the bolster in half and tuck it into the cover. 

3. Gently tuck the ends of the bolster into the cover and then place the bolster along the inside of the cover.

4. Fasten the zip on the inside and close the zip. A trick is to push the bolster down from the outside while zipping. This makes zipping easier and ensures that the zipper doesn't get stuck in the fabric. You can use a finger in front of the zip to make sure fabric doesn't get stuck.

5. Now place the mattress inside the cover and gently tuck the end of the mattress into the inside pocket.

Done!

All of our orders are dispatched within three business days. If it is a pre-sale, the lead time will be longer and written on the product page. Toddler Nests and Twin Nests are made to order and can take up to ten business days to be dispatched. 

We ship everything with Australia Post. The approximate shipping times are:

QLD: 1-4 business days

NSW, ACT, TAS & VIC: 3 - 5 business days

SA:  5 - 7  business days

WA & NT: 7 - 8 business days

International: 3 - 15 business days

We offer an A$9 flat rate shipping fee to Australia and New Zealand for orders below A$279 and free shipping for orders above A$279. Please contact us if you would like to upgrade to Express shipping.

There is a flat rate of A$30 for shipping to the USA  (Express shipping).  Fees for other locations are calculated at checkout but we have listed our current shipping rates on the page "Shipping & Returns" .  

We have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If the product is not what you expected when you receive it, you can return the unused product and we will give you a full refund of the product value. We offer free return shipping for orders above A$200 placed within Australia and New Zealand. Please contact our friendly customer service team on bubmail@bubnest.com.auand we will arrange the refund for you.

Yes, as long as the nest hasn’t been used and is sent back to us in its original condition. Please contact our friendly customer service team at bubmail@bubnest.com.au to arrange an exchange.

We also offer Baby Nest Covers in case you would like to have another pattern after a while, or if you want to use the Nest for another baby.
